An Interview with a Former CWE Member of the Court

I’m looking forward to hearing about your life outside the Court. How was your time as a CWE member?

It was an honor to serve on the Court and it has been an interesting experience. I would say my favorite part of being a judge is that I feel like I am making a difference in people’s lives.

I think the most difficult part of being a judge was balancing the case load. There were many cases that were more time consuming than other cases, and it can be difficult to balance them all properly.

Rules and Regulations for Electronic Device Usage in the Examination Hall

It is important for students to know the rules and regulations in the examination hall. Here are some of the things that students should take note of:

1) Students are not allowed to bring any electronic devices into the examination hall. This includes devices such as laptops, smartwatches, tablets, headphones, bluetooth speakers, and any device with a camera.

2) If a student forgets to turn their electronic device off before entering the examination hall or forgets to put it away in their bag, they can take it with them but must leave it on their desk or hand it over to a proctor.

3) Students may use a calculator provided by the invigilator if needed during an exam.

Daily Wear & Grooming Standards Within The Examination Halls

Some of the most important points are that students are expected to have their hair neatly combed or tied up in a ponytail, to avoid wearing earrings, body piercings, lipstick, nail polish, heavy perfume or cologne. It is also advised that they don't wear any clothes which would be too tight or too short.
