- Lateral Entry candidates are eligible only for lateral entry counselling to the second year, not for main BCECE counselling

How to Register
- Visit the official website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in
- Click on the BCECE 2026 Counselling Registration link when the window opens
- Register using your BCECE 2026 roll number, rank card details, and other requested information to generate a user ID and password
- Log in with your user ID and password
- Fill in personal, academic, and category details, and upload the required documents in scanned format
- Pay the non-refundable counselling registration fee online
- Proceed to choice filling: select your preferred colleges and courses in order of priority
- Review and lock your choices before the deadline; a confirmation will be sent to your registered email
- Wait for the seat allotment result on the scheduled date
- If allotted a seat, pay the seat acceptance fee and report to the allotted institute with original documents for verification
Choice Filling Details
- No limit on the number of college and course choices you can add
- Candidates can edit choices any number of times until the final locking deadline
- Once locked, choices cannot be changed
- Research previous years' closing ranks for target colleges before filling choices to include a realistic mix of ambitious, moderate, and safe options
Seat Allotment Process
- Based on BCECE 2026 rank, category, and filled and locked choices
- Round 1 seat allotment scheduled for 29 July 2026
- Download the provisional seat allotment letter from the counselling portal
- Pay the seat acceptance fee within the specified deadline
