Registration for CCMT 2026 special round counselling opens on 14 July 2026 to fill vacant M.Tech, M.Arch and M.Plan seats at NITs, IIEST Shibpur, IIITs and participating GFTIs. The tentative vacant seat matrix was released on 13 July 2026. You must re-register and fill fresh choices even if you participated in the regular rounds, and the registration fee is non-refundable.

How to Apply
- Visit ccmt.admissions.nic.in and click on special round registration link
- Log in using your GATE registration ID, password and security PIN
- Complete the special round registration form and pay the applicable fee online
- Review the tentative vacant seat matrix and fill fresh choices for institutes and programs
- Lock your choices within the deadline specified on the official schedule
- Check seat allotment result once released and proceed with freeze/slide/float response
- Report to designated centre for document verification with original certificates and self-attested photocopies
- Report to allotted institute within specified deadline to confirm admission
