General Terms and Conditions
- Positions are temporary and coterminous with the project
- Engagement depends on fund availability, functional requirements and competent authority approval
- Number of posts may vary
- Salary rates may vary as per funding agency sanction
- Experience must be from institutes of repute, hospitals or NABL accredited labs
- Experience must be gained after acquiring minimum essential qualification
- Mere filling essential qualification does not guarantee selection
- Persons in regular government service are not eligible
- No TA/DA will be paid for interview attendance
- Wrong or false information disqualifies candidature
- Engaged staff cannot register for Ph.D. due to time constraints
- Engaged staff will normally be posted at study site but can be posted elsewhere as per research needs
- Engaged staff have no claim on regular posts in ICMR or AIIMS Gorakhpur
- Project benefits (provident fund, pension, leave travel concession, medical claim, staff quarters) are not admissible
- Initial engagement normally for one year or less depending on project tenure
- Maximum term of engagement is three and a half years
- AIIMS Gorakhpur reserves right to terminate positions without assigning reason
- Leaves as per ICMR policy for project positions
- Canvassing in any form leads to disqualification
